Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

Tab Trade - The Short VersionTabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker. His background tells you something. It says the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace. The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker. The instrument list: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform that launched in March 2026, the breadth is solid.PlatformsAvailable: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from the same login. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. You are not locked into one.MT5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.cTrader is the alternative. Better DOM. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Many people like it better than MT5 once they try it.FIX API is offered for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be coming. That would round things out once it is live.Accounts and PricingThree tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Simple. $0 to start. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade has no minimum.VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not relevant to most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.InfrastructureThe execution is the area where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote a much wider range.Should you care? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. The point is the infrastructure is there. That signals what kind of broker this is.Combine that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket offer execution like this. The FSRA QuestionHere is the detail that requires honesty. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.But. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It should factor into how you think about it.The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.The BonusTabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You fund your account, they credit extra capital. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus.
