TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

Tab Trade - The Short Version

Tab Trade launched in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection matters. It says the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities prime brokers run on. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys did the opposite. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.

The Software

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you know a MetaQuotes platform before, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better DOM. Faster charting. cBot support. Plenty of traders prefer it once they try it.

FIX API is offered for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is apparently in the works. That will round things out once it is live.

What You Pay

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Simple. No minimum deposit. Suits people who want simple pricing.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not something the average person. Ignore this one unless you move real size.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the setup is serious. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering is strong. Hardly anyone at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

Regulation

Here is the part that requires honesty. The broker is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If that makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.

But. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Dodgy operations do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. None of this guarantee anything. It does be part of your assessment.

What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether that works depends on you.

The Bonus

TabTrade offers bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Usual sign-up bonus. You fund your account, they credit extra capital. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you commit.
