TabTrade - The Short Version
Tab Trade opened in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.
That last detail matters. It means the person running this has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that launched in March 2026, the breadth is solid.
Platforms
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Many people like it better than MT5 once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be coming. That will make the platform set when it lands.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. TabTrade does not.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
The execution is the area where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform quote 100ms to 300ms.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That says something about priorities.
Put together those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
Safety
This is the thing you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Dodgy operations do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not make it safe. It should inform your assessment.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal works is your call.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade has bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Usual sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before you commit.
